SOCIL is excited to announce in June 2015 we received a Quality of Life Grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. It purchased five new sports wheelchairs to expand and support organized competitive and recreational opportunities. Athletes with paralysis and mobility impairments will realize their abilities and develop new skills while being able to participate with peers in athletic activities.
The grant is funded through a cooperative agreement with the Administration for Community Living.
