Peer Support
Peer Support is information, one-on-one peer mentoring, and group interactions helping people with disabilities develop mutual support, assistance, and understanding. Staff members and consumers with similar disabilities who are living independently are available to talk with and provide support for consumers. Individual and group support through role models encourages consumers to seek ways to enhance their quality of life and to contribute to their communities.
